  • Welcome to La Lucé! One of Chicago’s best Italian restaurants. Family-owned since 1989.

We’re family-owned and operated and have been in business for nearly 20 years. Located at the corner of Lake St. and Ogden Ave., La Luce is in close proximity to the United Center and is perfect for meals before or after Bulls and Blackhawks games and concert events. The restaurant’s kitchen is open Monday through Thursday, 11am to 10pm, Friday, 11am to 11pm, Saturday, 3pm to 11pm and Sunday, 3pm to 9pm.

La Luce’s cuisine is Northern Italian with an emphasis on simple traditional recipes made with only the freshest ingredients. Opened since 1993, La Luce has received praise from local food critics: James Ward, Pat Bruno, Judy Sutton, and patrons alike. We hope you enjoy your dining experience as well.

The building we are located in is a beautiful Queen-Anne Victorian built in 1892. Over the years it has served as a local tavern and in 1989, it underwent a major five-year renovation. Some of its unique features are the exterior copper work, meat locker with original milk glas panels, wood-burning stove, tin ceiling and wine cellar. The exterior and interior has been chosen as film locations for a number of movies and television series.
